Carter's is a family-owned restaurant and events venue at 424 Main Street in Beacon, NY — where a great meal can turn into a late night, and a birthday dinner into a full-on celebration.

Very welcoming from the start. The staff offered great appetizer options — I chose the seafood, which was fresh and flavorful. For the main course, I went with a pasta that was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, I always enjoy the music here, and the Negroni I ordered was the perfect way to start the meal. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience here with my family during our visit to Beacon. We walked by and saw how yummy the food looked so we decided on this place for dinner. Drinks were great. Enjoy the deviled egg appetizer. The chicken caesar salad was amazing and I highly recommend for any caesar salad lover.

The atmosphere of the place is amazing, especially with a live band playing. But it's truly the food you should come here for, I loved the steak (and the portion size – after a long hike, it was just what I needed). The staff were attentive and overall very nice. Definitely recommended!

Loved the food and feel of Carter's. The front bar/eating area had huge doors that were open to let the outside on. The back dining room and back out door patio was really a nice way to enjoy the beautiful evening.
